What technology is it?
EM wave imaging, powered by Eagle Intelligence. The probe sends electromagnetic waves into the concrete, and Eagle Intelligence turns the reflections into a clear color image on your phone.
What can it detect?
Rebar, cables and pipes, shown in color at their depth, plus the back of the element.
How deep can it see?
Up to 40 cm into concrete. Eagle Intelligence keeps improving with every update and every new phone.
How does it compare to GPR?
In our tests to date, Eagle XR detects the same objects within its range. A GPR radargram may hold more detail for the trained eye; an XR image can be read by anyone. XR is the everyday first check. When it gets complex, roll in the GPR.
What do I need to use it?
Because a browser was never built to drive a sensor. When your phone talks to a live probe on a critical site, you want a direct, secure connection and your phone's full power, not a browser tab. That's what a native app gives you, and why Eagle XR gets better with every new phone.
Do I need training?
No. An XR image is made to be read by anyone.
Can I upgrade later?
