Before going to which version of iPhones or iPads Inspect supports, we need to understand how it works.

Inspect works on current + two operating system versions, meaning if the current iOS version is 19 then Inspect will support 19, 18, and 17 versions of iOS.

It is up to Apple about which devices should support these iOS versions. Depending on which are devices supported for 19, 18, and 17, Inspect will be able to run on all those devices (depending on which feature is available in which version of iPad, for example, if you are looking for 3D Scan, then it will not be available in Inspect running on iPad mini, it has to be a minimum of iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) which has in-built LiDAR functionality.)

For now, Inspect is compatible with the following devices:
- iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max
- iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR
- iPhone SE (2nd generation and later)
- iPad Pro (2nd generation and later)
- iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
- iPad (6th generation and later)
- iPad mini (5th generation and later)

LiDAR for 3D Scanning in Inspect can be used on the following devices.
- iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation and later)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation and later)
