Gain peace of mind and proof of accuracy

What is verification and why is it important?

Verification of your probe with a Proceq test block confirms that the instrument’s readings are within the expected range. This periodic process is crucial to:

  • Eliminate Risk of Faulty Measurements: Avoid rejecting good parts or accepting bad ones, preventing product failure, customer claims and even supplier disqualification.
  • Detect deviations early and prevent costly quality issues: Verification is a critical procedure that ensures your device remains accurate over time.
  • Meet Industry Standards: Comply with crucial standards like ISO 16859, ASTM A956, GB/T 17394 or JB/T 9378 through regular verification.

How to verify your Equotip device with Proceq Test blocks?

Verifying your device is a simple process that can be done in less than 1 minute.

Place the test block on a stable support and conduct a number of readings (3-5 depending on the standard) to compute the average. If the average value is within the accepted by the standard range, your device is ready to go!

Not sure about the detailed verification parameters and have Equotip 550? Simply follow the instruction wizard on the Equotip 550 device screen to perform the test with the blocks.

Rely on Swiss Premium Quality

How many test blocks will I need?

Verifications wear-off the test block with time, but lack of it can cause non-conformance cost: costs to be covered if the adequate quality assurance is not met.

Use the calculator to see how many test blocks you may need and know potential costs if the quality assurance is not met. Unlock bigger discounts when you purchase multiple blocks!

  • Proceq test blocks are double-sided for 2x longer lifetime.
  • All standards require daily verifivcation for accurate results.*
  • Indentation spot hardens the surface and can be used only once (reference to standards

    ISO16859, ASTM A956, GB/T 17394, JB/T 9378).

*For standard compliance, verify your hardess tester: ASTM A956: After each shift. ISO 16859: Daily, before the first test per scale.
