Inspect is available as a web application and as a mobile application in the App Store. The main difference between these two is one is for data management and another one is for data collection.

Inspect web is an admin tool where all the data management and customization can happen while a user is in the office from any desktop/laptop, irrespective of the operating system. Whereas Inspect app on the iPad is a tool to collect the data based on structured input forms (Spot templates) which are customized on Inspect web by admin or manager.

Entire asset management, access control, spot and report template customization, 3D view setup can only happen on the web, whereas the data collecting by creating spots can happen through Inspect mobile app.
